About
Ricardo Junqueira is photographer located in Lisbon (Portugal). He is specialized in architecture photography, interior design, hospitality, travels, corporative and fine arts and is available for assignments all over the world.
With over 30 years of experience, he has worked for architects, real estate developers, publications, advertising agencies and others. Among his clients are The Wall Street Journal, Vogue, Casa Vogue, Condé Nast Traveller, Elle, Grup Sehrs, Editora Abril, Editora Globo, AIRBNB, Getty Images, BASF, Petrobrás and Banco Itaú.
He was born in Brasilia (Brazil), and lived there until he was 22 years old. Photography entered his life in 1979 and he became a professional in 1984. By 1988 he had moved to São Paulo, in order to further his career in the field. Since 1985 he has participated in many solo e group exhibitions and has collected many awards, both in Brazil and abroad.
He coordinated a center for research, portfolio assembly and exhibitions at Collectors Gallery (São Paulo) and taught photography at Escola Panamericana de Arte de São Paulo, one of the most importante art schools in Brazil. Is member of Abrafoto – Brazilian Association of Advertising Photographers, since 1999, of RPCFB – Brazilian Photography Cultural Producers Network, since 2009, and of AFP – Portugal Professional Photographers Association, since 2012.
